The introduction of the world wide web brought upon new technological advancements, revolutionizing the business world by offering more efficient and faster solutions to meet individuals' needs, leading to disintermediation. One example of this transformation that I’ve witnessed is the evolution of gaming consoles like PlayStation. With the rise of digital gaming, physical stores like GameStop have seen a decline, as most games are now purchased online through platforms like the PlayStation Store. The convergence of digital systems and online gaming has created a more streamlined and accessible gaming experience.

Similarly, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) have the potential to disrupt many industries in the same way the World Wide Web did, not only replacing certain jobs but also creating new opportunities in the market. As a college student, I believe AI and ML could transform education system, we are living in a new era for college students, where the introduction of AI is transforming the education system. AI can introducing new personalized learning experiences, providing AI-driven tutoring, and enhancing online teaching platforms like Canvas. With the continued advancement of these technologies, we can expect a revolution in education that makes learning more tailored, efficient, and accessible.

CyberCrime

 from my understanding cybercrime includes various illegal activities carried out using the internet, and it can impact individuals, companies, and even governments. Three common types of cybercrime that i researched can include phishing, ransomware attacks, and identity theft.   phishing can occur through fraudulent emails or websites that appear legitimate. For example, an attacker may send an email that looks like it’s from a well-known company (like a bank or an online retailer), asking the recipient to click a link and "verify" their account information. The link leads to a fake website that resembles the real one, where victims unknowingly enter their data. A similar experience happened to me recently. Although my personal information wasn’t stolen, I did receive several suspicious texts and emails about supposed package deliveries.
