Scavenger Hunt

I thought the scavenger hunt assignment was both fun and informative. It was interesting to use the internet to explore and research anything that interested me about myself, others, or just about anything I could find.  Through the scavenger hunt, I discovered a lot of information I didn’t think was possible. It showed me the power of the web and deepened my understanding of how to find what I’m looking for, just like we did with this assignment. The internet and the web can give you just about anything you need information on.

Prototcol

A protocol is a set of rules that enables data transmission over the diverse networks that work with the Internet, allowing efficient and effective communication. The significance of these protocols lies in their ability to allow billions of devices to share information seamlessly. For example, of a layer protocol like HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and FTP (File Transfer Protocol) are essential for transferring web pages and files. This works alongside IP (Internet Protocol), which is responsible for addressing and routing packets of data between devices. Together, these protocols form the backbone of Internet communication, enabling a wide range of applications to operate smoothly. The Web and the Internet have distinct differences, each offering unique services that work together....

Artificial Intelligence

AI has shown great promise in tasks like finding information and making work easier. Lately, I’ve noticed AI being integrated into our lives more and more. It seems to pop up in every app and new technology. Sophia's response, "If you’re nice to me, then i'll be nice to you," raises concerns about how AI could interact with us. It reminds me of the movie I, Robot, where machines could potentially replace us or even cause harm. The idea that "the machine is us/using us" relates as robots are learning our habits, they could take over our roles or even worse cuase harm. With new in...
